QCWA Public Rural Crisis Fund

Overview

This fund aims to assist women and families during times of crisis.

The program is currently assisting farmers and their families with household support in every part of Queensland.

The support is in the form of providing grocery vouchers or store credit or paying a household bill such as a utility or a medical account.

There are two types of support available:
- Up to $1,000 per family/household for natural disasters such as flood, fire, cyclone or drought.
- Up to $500 per family/household for general financial hardship.
